At a meeting of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Dessislava Taneva presented a declaration by Bulgaria, in which our country is calling on
"The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry wants to support young people by enabling them to meet successful farmers in our country through the Super Farmer campaign.
Bulgaria and Germany will cooperate in finding green practices. This was agreed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Verginia Krasteva and Joachim Rukwied,
"There is a positive trend in the export of Bulgarian agricultural commodities. Exports for 2018 reach EUR 4.3 billion, an increase of 4% compared to 2017."
The European Commission presented the transitional rules for the Common Agricultural Policy after 2020. This happened during the meetings of the Special Committee on Agriculture and the Committee on Agriculture in the European Parliament.
"During the current programming period of the Common Agricultural Policy, we secured 38% full-year employment in the Fruit and Vegetables sector.
The Saudi Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) defines the Bulgarian products offered on the Saudi market as high quality.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Atanas Dobrev met with the Secretary of State for Forests, Hunting and Timber Industry at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, Milosav Angelic.
Both coupled and transitional national supports are interlinked.
This took place during Minister Taneva's official visit to Moscow.
