Kiril Vatev took office as caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Food in the caretaker government with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev. He held the same post in the previous cabinet. During his official welcome to the building of the agri-ministry, he stated that he had accepted the invitation to be the Minister of Agriculture and Food again, as he would have the opportunity to continue the activities that have already been started in the sector. Legislative changes in support of agricultural producers remain a priority for the Ministry's leadership. A special emphasis in his new mandate will continue to be the policies of transparency, openness and dialogue through the many meetings of Advisory Councils.
