The Minister of Agriculture Dr. Ivan Ivanov met H.E. Mr. Yoram Elron, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Bulgaria. The discussion placed emphasis on the great importance of technologies in agriculture and their importance for the efficient production of agricultural products. The two officials discussed new prospects for joint initiatives of Bulgaria and Israel, including the experience exchange in the field of water resources management for agricultural purposes and hydromeliorations, as well as cooperation in the dairy sector. The initiatives will be performed as trainings and seminars where Israeli experts will present their experience and expertise in these areas.
Minister Ivanov and Ambassador Yoram Elron expressed their readiness to maintain the bilateral dialogue and deepen the cooperation in the agriculture sector.
