Teams of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Bulgarian for Food Safety Agency and the National Revenue Agency carried out inspections at the dairies throughout the country today. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva before the reporters in Stara Zagora, where she attended the official opening of the BATA International Specialized Agricultural Exhibition. "We are going to check up all financial documents at the dairies in relation to raw materials, sales and VAT," pointed out Taneva.


Minister of Agriculture and Food explained that a number of changes have been made in the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 in order to enable the access to the program of a larger number of farmers. According to her, these changes aim to support real and sustainable farmers. "I hope our dialogue to continue in finding the best solutions to achieve efficient agriculture", said further minister Taneva. "A total of 6,600 farmers have been applied under the new RDP and submitted projects worth BGN 4 billion,"added Minister Taneva.
