This week 29 projects that have fulfilled the commitment under National Beekeeping Program (2011 – 2013) will receive subsidy.
Until the end of August 2011 a total of 1 182 applications were submitted. The percentage of approved funds at the moment amounted to 97 % of the total applications submitted by beekeepers and their organizations.
Budget for Beekeeping Program this year amounted to BGN 6 553 588. On the base of amount of financial assistance, as well as applications for payment by the candidates, the expected absorption of funds is about 73%.
