Today at the meeting of the Expert Committee for Transparency proposals of 20 Municipalities under three of the measures of Rural Development Program (RDP), amounting in total to BGN 38 802 562 million have been approved.
Among them 12 are the projects under Measure 322 – “Renovation and Development of settlements” for BGN 15 658 840 and another 5 projects are under Measure 321 – “Basic Services for the Economy and Population in Rural Areas”, amounting to BGN 22 372 650.
With subsidies given under Measures 321 and 322 municipal roads, water networks and public lighting will be renovated and reconstructed.
Tree municipalities will receive a subsidy of BGN 771 072 for stimulating tourism activities. With the help of Measure 313 various attractions for visitors, entertainment facilities, places for recreation and hiking trails would be built.
During the second meeting of the Committee today have been approved another 29 projects for BGN 9 905 121 under Measure 311 – “Diversification into Non-Agricultural Activities” and Measure 312 “Support for Establishment and Development of Micro Enterprises”.
Subsidies will be used exceptionally for heterogeneous activities: building of photovoltaic power plant; repairing workshop for agricultural machinery; a garage; guest house; purchase of specialized construction equipment.
Part of the funds will go for building and equipment of cutting workshop, decorative cosmetics and perfumery; multifunctional sports centre; workshop for the manufacture of wooden prefabricated houses and for creating human hair wigged production.
Under Measure 121 “Modernization of Agricultural Holdings”, twelve of beneficiaries will be invited to sign contracts for financial support. Upon successful realization of projects they will receive BGN 4 224 264 under the program.
