Approved amendments to the Regulations of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) and the Rules of the Public Procurement Agency because of new provisions in the PPA become effective as of 26 February 2012.

One of the most significant changes is reducing the types of procedures and the number of regimes, through which contracts are awarded. Contracts that fall under the current Ordinance for Assigning Small Public Procurement will be awarded through procedures stipulated by law.

All beneficiaries,  contractors of public procurement who have approved list of planned procurement and descriptive documents by the State Fund "Agriculture", but fail to initiate the procedures for awarding up to February 26, 2012, will be required to comply with the new rules.

There will not be necessary  the lists of planned procurement and descriptive documents to be re-sent, if criteria for selection of candidates and evaluation of tenders that have already been approved by the State Fund "Agriculture" is not changed .
