Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Tsvetan Dimitrov met with President of European Milk Board, Romuald Schaber. They both discussed the future reforms and development of milk sector in our country and in Europe.
European organization offers union between farmers who produce raw milk and processing industry on the other hand. The aim is to be reduced the expenditures of farms and lower prices of final product. In this way will be achieved a constant monitoring and natural regulation in sector development.
On his side Deputy Minister Dimitrov presented to representatives of European Board the structure and organization of milk sector in our country. The main purpose of Ministry of Agriculture and Food during new program period is to be strengthened and developed the farms in mountainous areas in the country.
