“Bulgarian agriculture shows an upward trend in all sectors for 2015”,stated by Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva at the official opening of the 25th International Agricultural Exhibition "AGRA" 2016. She specified that despite the difficulties the farmers encountered last year, an increase in breeding animals was reported except dairy cattle breeding.
Taneva expressed her hope that thanks to the support measures within the scope of direct payments; our country will continue to develop one balanced agricultural production. "Our goal is this upward trend to be sustainable and to increase farmers' income," added Minister of Agriculture.
"I am glad that in this year's exhibition the Bulgarian Agricultural Academy can provide farmers with new varieties and new technologies to improve efficiency," she said.
Minister Taneva wished to all the organizers, exhibitors and farmers the restoration of old and opening new markets.
