Ministry of Agriculture and Food has made changes in Ordinance № 20 from July 7, 2008 on procedure for granting financial support under Measure 226 “Restoring forestry potential and introducing prevention actions” of Rural Development Program 2007-2013. With the changes will increase the amount of advanced payment from 20% to 50%, as the highest amount will be implemented in supporting applications, approved with an Order of Executive Director of Paying Agency. This Ordinance was issued after December 31, 2011.
Beneficiaries will already have the opportunity to receive advanced payment as they present a contract with two guarantees. Under the amendment of Ordinance, the maximum period for the implementation of projects of 24 months will begin from the date of receiving the financial support. It will be increased and the maximum length of forestry roads, which can be supported under this Ordinance, which serve anti-fire infrastructure and actions in forests from 1500 to 5000 meters linear length. The amendment eliminated the text in the Ordinance, regarding to machinery supply, which offers should contain signature and seal of producer or official importer. It aims to be determined the merits of the proposed expenditures.
