The Minister of Agriculture and Food Kiril Vatev, the Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture of Germany Cem Özdemir and the Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner, opened the Bulgarian stand at Green Week 2024. Bulgaria is presenting itself for the 33rd time with a stand of 143 square meters at the world's largest international exhibition in the field of the food industry.

Minister Yozdemir had a look at the displayed traditional Bulgarian foods - dairy and meat products, wines and fruit drinks, honey, essential oil products, organic products, jams and spices, paying special attention to honey, pita and patterned salt and wished success to Minister Vatev and the Bulgarian producers.

The president of the German Farmers' Union, Joachim Ruckvid, Chairman of the Federation of German Food and Drink Industries Dr. Christian von Boetticher and Dr. Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe berlin also visited the Official opening of the Bulgarian stand.

The exhibition gives the 11 Bulgarian exhibitors the opportunity to diversify their export opportunities and present their native products to over 300,000 visitors from over 60 countries.

The Bulgarian delegation includes the Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food Eng. Miroslav Marinov, Tanya Georgieva and Associate Professor Deyan Stratev, the People's Representatives Daniel Petrov and Krastyo Vrachev, the Executive Director of the State Fund Agriculture Georgi Takhov, Dr. Svetlozar Patarinski the Executive Director of the BFSA etc.
