"Bulgaria needs a stable hunting”, announced Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Prof. Dr. Hristo Bozukov at the opening of the General Reporting and Election Members Meeting of the National Hunting and Fishing Association "Union of Hunters and Fishermen in Bulgaria", which is being held today in Sofia. He clarified that this could be achieved by updating the legal framework, corresponding to the requirements of the socio-economic situation and modern hunting practices.
"The support and partnership between the association and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry lead to a purposeful policy in the sector," pointed out the Minister of Agriculture. According to him, it was our responsibility to protect and develop game populations and it should be passed on to future generations. Minister Bozukov had no doubt that this could happen only with the united efforts of all participants in the process. He congratulated the members of the association and emphasized that there were many challenges related to game management in present conditions. That is why their opinions, views and ideas are extremely important.
