Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Rumen Porodzanov met in Ankara with the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Fakıbaba. The two officials discussed the opportunities for increased trade in agricultural products. During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the current situation in the livestock breeding sector in order to increase trade.
Minister Porodzanov and his Turkish counterpart have agreed to cooperate in different spheres, as well as to exchange experience in the field of seed selection and innovations as in planting material.
Both have reached to an agreement to hold a joint Agriculture Committee in Ankara during September this year. The working groups on the organization of the event will start work from next week.
