Applications approved are under Measure 141 "Support for semi-subsistence farms undergoing restructuring" of the RDP. Since the early 2011 the fund administration has received a total of 995 proposals to support the measure. Successful proposals will receive a grant of EUR 1,500 per year for a period of 5 years.
Notification letters, requesting additional information from applicants, have been sent to 36 candidates, while 8 of them have withdrawn their applications.
Subsidies under Measure 141 are allocated to overcome the difficulties experienced by subsistence farms, while restructuring their agricultural activities.
Another ten municipality projects will be suggested for approval at the meeting of Expert Committee to ensure transparency on 15.07.2011. The projects are under Measure 321 “Basic services for the population and the rural economy”.
