“Bulgarian products are very popular in Kazakhstan due to their excellent qualities”. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Dimitar Grekov during the official meeting with Kazakh Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection Kairat Absattarov.

 

"Bulgaria has established strong relations with Kazakhstan, but we need to expand and develop our cooperation," said Minister Grekov. He suggested specific areas of cooperation to the delegation. “Bulgaria could be very useful for you with its rich selection of wheat and the broad genetic base of seeds that have proved their quality throughout Europe”. Other priority areas in which the two countries agreed to cooperate are the food industry engineering and gardening.

 

Bulgaria and Kazakhstan have already developed an excellent cooperation in the field of education and many Kazakhs received their master's degrees in our country.

 

“Bulgaria is serious in terms of developing bilateral relations and the proof for this is the invitation that I extended to the Kazakh Minister of Agriculture and his Deputy. We are ready to work on specific memoranda to be signed, "added further the Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture. He prioritized the development of a memorandum with respect to food safety, where access of Bulgarian goods to Asian markets and that of Kazakh goods to European consumers to be regulated.
