The event, which is scheduled to take place at 10:00 hours at Sredets room of the Sheraton hotel in Sofia, will bring together officials from the European Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, diplomatic missions in Bulgaria as well as industry association members.
Special guest to the forum will be Georgios Malliaris of the European Commission’s DG Agriculture, who will present application of the scheme at a European level. Experts of State Fund Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food will focus on details of applying the scheme at a local level.
The second part of the forum will feature representatives of organizations, who are beneficiaries under the scheme including the National Vine and Wine Chamber, the Thrace Regional Vine and Wine Chamber, the Bulgarian Association of Dairy Processors and the Union of Fruits and Vegetables Processors.
Guests of the forum will have the opportunity to taste some of the advertised products.
