"To respond to global economic processes and to increase the competitiveness of agriculture, it is necessary to stimulate its adaptation to the rapidly changing world of digital technologies, digital innovations and applications“. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Vergina Krasteva during the Meeting of Agriculture Ministers of China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (format 16 + 1).

The event is on "Intelligent Agriculture - Innovative Solutions for Food Security and Food Safety". Vergina Krusteva also added that the challenges facing agriculture and rural areas require solutions based on scientific research, innovation for modernization and new technologies. A Joint Declaration was adopted during the Forum, on the importance of cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEEC). The 13th Agro-trade and Economic Cooperation Forum between China and CEEC is held in Vilnius, Lithuania.
