On July 15, 2011 expired the deadline for submission of applications under de minimis aid for 2011.A total of 13,210 applications have been received. On July 20, 2011, a meeting with representatives of the agricultural organizations will be held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, where it is expected the unit rates, according to species to be announced.
“De minimis” program is oriented to support farmers to feed their animals. Financial resource is provided to farmers who keep cows, buffaloes, sheep and goat-mothers. Any farmer who meets the conditions of de minimis program, can receive funding up to the equivalent of 7500 euros for the last three fiscal years (2009-2011).
The deadline for the negotiation of funds is July 25, 2011 to August 4, 2011, and the final date for payment is August 12, 2011.
