Subsidies will support 35 enterprises, which investments are mainly in sectors meat, milk and processing and marketing of forest products. Projects are under Measure 123 “Adding value to agricultural and forestry products”. They were discussed today during meeting of Expert Committee for ensuring transparency. A big part of aid will be absorbed in Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad Districts. Most of food processing enterprises plan to modernize their facilities for production of meat and processing of milk. Other will invest in wine-cellars and in production of unrefined vegetable oils. In sector of forest industry will be supported mainly projects for production of pallets from wood waste. Investments in this type of activity have a high economical and ecological value. Thus total amount of subsidies under Measure 123, approved in the beginning of Rural Development Program until now exceeded BGN 230 million.
