Cucumbers are not the source of the infection with the E. coli bacteria, announced Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov. This is the statement of opinion of the EU Observation Committee, taken late last night. Health officials in Germany have admitted that the source of an E. coli outbreak can't yet be confirmed. Initially, they'd laid the blame squarely on organic cucumbers from Spain, the Minister said. There is a source of infection, but  it is hardly any vegetable. The source has not yet been identified.
