State Fund “Agriculture” paid subsidies amounted to BGN 29 605 580 under three of the schemes for specific support per dairy cow. Under the scheme for maintenance of cow’s milk production in economical vulnerable areas (NDKM 1) 3463 farmers receive BGN 225 per cow or totally BGN 13 548 008. This year subsidy per cow under the scheme is EUR 25 more than in 2010.
Another BGN 7 958 611 were transferred to the accounts of 1481 farmers who have applied under the scheme for maintenance of cow’s milk production in adverse areas. The rate amounts to BGN 247 per dairy cow, EUR 7 more than last year.
Subsidies under the scheme for maintenance of cow’s milk production in vulnerable zones amounted to BGN 8 098 961. They will be transferred to 437 farmers. Under the scheme are paid BGN 205 per animal. In 2010 campaign the amount was BGN 180.
So far, State Fund “Agriculture” has already paid over BGN 51 million national additional payments for cattle, cows bred for meat, buffaloes, sheep and goats.
Second tranche of national additional payments for cattle, foreseeing for mid-January 2012 is imminent.
