Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov met with teachers of Professional High School for Agrarian Technologies “Tsanko Tserovski” in town Pavlikeni. Minister Naydnov said that have to be done a reform in the sector, and it would be happen the next year. Professional schools in the agriculture will be reduced. Until now their number is 95 throughout the country. They should begin to support themselves partly by property and lands they have, said Minister. The Ministry can’t allocate funds for capital expenditures and purchase of agricultural machinery. Schools on your own have to do this by funds of agricultural activities. They have to till the lands, to produce goods or grant them on lease. Another option is to work on principle of public-private partnership, jointly with business.
