Bulgaria's wine exports have increased with 10% year on year in 2010, announced the Executive Director of the Executive Agency on Vine and WineKrasimir Koev during the official opening of the 2011 Vinaria International Exhibition in Plovdiv. Wine exports reached 57.6 million liters, out of which more then 80% of export volumes are bottled wines. Wine export goes mainly to Russia, where growth of 20% is registered per year. Among the major markets for our wines are: Poland, Britain, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Germany, announced Mr. Koev. He informed that  there is a tendency of steady increase in the areas occupied with new vines in the last years
Mr.Koev urged consumers to buy wine only from shops and underlined that team, including experts from the Agency and the Economic police will conduct joint checks for the sector.
