Today, the headquarters of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) in Paris, France, a meeting was held between the Director General of the OIV Mr. Federico Castellucci, Mr Ian Yuban-Counselor for Legal Affairs of the OIV and the Executive Director of the Wine and Vine Agency Mr. Krasimir Koev, authorized by the Minister of Agriculture. They discussed the possibilities for closer cooperation and the opening of the OIV representation in Bulgaria.
OIV intends to open a national committee of the organization, which will be in charge of the Balkan countries and the Black Sea Economic Area. The structure will be engaged in the implementation of OIV's policy in the region and the recruitment of new members.
OIV also considers holding a World Congress of Vine and Wine and a General Assembly of the organization in Bulgaria.
