A Strategy to restructure and develop the tobacco industry was approved by majority vote at the Tobacco Advisory Council at a regular meeting of the Council in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov.
The strategy envisages measures to develop the sector and outlined its future. It gives a clear vision about the current state of the sector as well as upcoming changes in the industry, tduing into account global tendencies, market situation, the policies in the sector and possible tools to support it.
