Department of Nature Park "Bulgarka"with the Executive Forestry Agency in Brussels presented traditional sheep cheese and Bulgarian yoghurt during the European Week of Regions and Cities - Days 'Open Doors- 2011 ". The event is organized each year by the European Commission and the Committee of Regions of the European Union. Joint initiative brings together over 6,000 regional and local partners from more than 200 EU regions, and eight non-member Union.
International event, which shows typical and traditional dishes for and authentic products for the countries. The event is held for the ninth consecutive year in Brussels. Bulgaria participates for the fourth time in the initiative. Besides the products presented by the natural park, visitors of the exhibition were able to try green cheese krokmach, buffalo milk, cheese Rhodope, hip jam and sweet berries.
The invitation for participationof the Nature Park "Bulgarka" was made because of excellent quality products that were proven in a laboratory environment.
Because of the increasing interest of people to food with eco-value, the Nature Park "Bulgarud" provides an opportunity for masters and producers of traditional ecological products to present their products in the new center "Bulgarka" near the Etara museum.
