If there are direct negotiations with manufacturers, the price for quality food that parents will pay for feeding their children in kindergartens and schools will not change. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov in the Council of Ministers after a meeting with the representatives of parent organizations together with Minister of Health Dr. Stefan Konstantinov.

Minister Naydenov said that after the calculations made up to date based on today's prices and contracts of the establishments this would mean the price to increase with 7-8%. We hope that with the new contracts municipalities to allow local manufacturers to directly supply food in order that 7-8% to be compensated because at the moment they go to middlemen.

On their part, parents want food in schools and kindergartens to be qualitative, but at the same time the tax they pay not to get more expensive, because not all families have financial opportunities to pay higher tax, said Theodora Piralkovd, Chairman of the National Alliance "Smile with me."

Within a month, experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Health together with representatives of parent organizations will develop a joint ordinance that will affect the menu of meals for children, mothers-to be, and quality control.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Network for Children Care, "Parents" Association, Bulgarian Mothers Movement and other parental and civic organizations.
