By order of the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Dr. Yordan Voynov it was ordered to all Regional Food Safety Directorates in Plovdiv, Smolyan and Kardzhali samples for radioactivity in mushrooms from around the region of the Rhodopes to be taken. 9 samples were taken of Porcino, Chanterelle and Saffron milk cap. Samples were tested in the Central Laboratory for Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise and Ecology (CLVSEE) to the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and all they were negative.
