“Our countries have common priorities in agriculture, and we can work together to implement them,” stated Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Dimitar Grekov during the meeting held at the MAF with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Sofia H.E. Emil Karimov.
Both parties also discussed the possibilities for cooperation in agriculture and food industry as for mutual visits of business delegations. “The key to our successful cooperation is to encourage mutual investment. Therefore, our aim is not only to increase trade between the two countries, but also to expand the forms of partnership," Grekov emphasized.
At the meeting it was informed that the two countries are in the process of negotiating a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of agriculture.
