The Executive Agency for Fishery and Aquacultures (IARA) and the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo have joined forces to carry out a promotional campaign that will brush up the image of fishing and aquaculture products in the municipality.

 

The grant amounts to BGN 814 883, or 100% of the approved costs, and comes under Measure 3.4 of OP Fisheries Development of new markets and promotional campaigns.

 

The campaign will seek to present the benefits and the high nutritional value of fishing and aquaculture products through a website, advertising boxes, audio and video spots, brochures, T-shirts and a booklet with simple fish recipes. A series of events will be held, starting off with fish testing that will take place in Veliko Tarnovo during the first month of the campaign.

 

 The project will run for ten months, with the promotional campaign scheduled to round off within six months.
