Executive Director of the Executive Agency on Vine and Wine (EAVW) Krasimir Koev participated in a meeting with Italian investors regarding their intentions to invest in Bulgarian vineyards. At the meeting, the Executive Director said he would notify the National Vine and Wine Chamber and its regional structures, as well as branch organizations about the future plans of Italian Joint Stock Company "Tehnovotis" in connection with their investment plans. The meeting was held in the central office of EAVW and was attended by Mr. Stefano Conti - President of "Tehnovitis" SA, Mr. Vicky Vicky - Office Manager for Bulgaria and other company representatives.
Italian side expressed interest in investing in Bulgarian vineyards. The company has offices in France, Hungary, Romania, Kosovo, Macedonia, plans to open one in Plovdiv in early 2012
"Tehnovitis" SA operates in the implementation of integrated projects for wine and table grapes, including research and implementation projects, business plans, investment analysis of wine grape varieties and the grafting of wine and table grapes.
