The vision of the Government is to enhance market orientation, increase the productivity and competitiveness of Bulgarian agricultural production. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vassil Groudev at the annual awards ceremony "Eurofarmer" and "Eurobusiness Lady”, organized by "Agribusiness “magazine. He added that the support of the agricultural sector involves combining both the state financial instruments and mechanisms offered by the EU funds.
In terms of the Rural Development Program for the next programming period, our ambition is to build on achievements gained so far, commented Deputy Minister Groudev. He explained that particular attention will be paid to the sensitive sectors with difficult access to the market as a vegetable production, horticulture and animal husbandry. Support schemes and measures under the program will be directed at providing employment opportunities and encouragement of entrepreneurship in order to keep young people in rural areas.
Deputy Minister Vassil Groudev presented the award "Eurobusiness Lady" 2014 to Mrs. Milena Goranova and "Eurofarmer" 2014 was given to Victor Rombaut, the cup got the Mayor of the town of Kula - Vladimir Vladimirov.
