On August 17 2011 Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov and business delegation from agricultural sector will visit Republic of Kosovo.

Part of the program is a meeting with Prime-Minister Hashim Tachi and Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry Mimoza Kusari-Lila. Minister Naydenov will also meet with his colleague Blerand Stavilechi, Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development. Together they will open Business Forum. At the Forum will be discussed the opportunities for export of Bulgarian food and agricultural production to Kosovo.

The visit of Bulgarian delegation in the western neighbor is at the invitation of Deputy Prime-Minister of Kosovo Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who was in our country last week.  As Mrs. Kusari-Lila mentioned then that Republic of Kosovo needs a supply of food and agricultural food products from Bulgaria to the amount of EUR 300 million, to fill the potential lack in the market, which emerged after the imposition reciprocal measures, affecting the county’s trade with Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.   

Part of Bulgarian official delegation is Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitar Tsanchev and Deputy Executive Director of Food Safety Agency Anton Velichkov.
