Application acceptance starts on January 16 and the deadline is January 31, 2012 for the purchase price determined by the Minister of Agriculture and Food, amounted to 0.07 leva per kilogram of cow's milk for supply. On the same level and standard is the price per kilogram of cow's milk for direct sales.
The procedure for transfer of individual milk quotas without agricultural holdings by means of the so called "Quota Exchange"was launched for the third year in Bulgaria in August 2011. At the end of 2011 Fund "Agriculture" sent notification letters to applicants approved for payment by with a deadline of 1 month of the reference number of the letter.
Processing of the data showed the existence of approved purchase orders without any transfer of the due amount. In this case the State Fund "Agriculture" has the obligation to declare the free amounts for sale on its website again. They are the following:
• Available for purchase quota quantities for delivery: 16,734,680 kg.
• Available for purchase quota amounts for direct
sales: 1,124,510 kg.
Application form for purchase may be found on the website of the SFA, or in any provincial office.
Payment of the amounts approved for sale to individual milk quotas for cow's milk is be made according to the application number in the period September 1 - November 15, 2011
Inspection on spot will be made to all approved for sale quotas as soon as the transfer of funds and the issuance of certificates for sale will be carried out.
