From July 1st 2012, the Bulgarian Agency for Food Safety will establish an organisation, which enables controlled access to the Information System of BAFS - VetIS to the registered private veterinarians.
Veterinarians who carry out the process of assigning micro-chips to dogs in either clinics, surgeries or veterinary offices will have access to "VetIS" in order to enter data of the pets in the National Register. Such access will be granted after a request for ‘rights to use’ and a consequent training tailored for working with the system.
