A total of 13,160 hunters and hunting parties were checked in November by the regional directorates of the Executive Forest Agency and the territorial units of the State Forestry
Enterprises joined by Interior Ministry staff.
Inspections were also performed on 474 vehicles.
Thirty-three violations were found, of which statements for administrative violation were drawn for 24. Two motor vehicles were seized as well as nine weapons and 43 pieces of ammunition.
