From today, fishermen can apply utilization of turbot quota for 2012.
Executive Director of NAFA, Mr Plamen Zahariev has initiated proceedings for the issuance of general administrative act on adoption a system of allocating individual turbot catch quotas and identification of fishing vessels to be included in the list of ships involved in the utilization of the quota for turbot for 2012.
Applications for participation in the utilization of turbot quota for 2012 must be entered in the Register of Fishing Vessels and Meshworks with a minimum size of the mesh not less than 400 mm.
In order to be included in the list of ships that will participate in the turbot quota utilization for 2010, applicants must submit an application form on a template, published at the following website: www.iara.government.bg to the one of the Regional Units of the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NAFA).
The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the utilization of turbot quota for 2012 is 30.12.2011.
The approved list of ships that will participate in the utilization of turbot quota for 2012 will be published at the NAFA website and publicly places, not earlier than February 10, 2012
