A draft ordinance has been prepared to amend and supplement Ordinance 2 of February 21, 2001 on the special requirements for participation in approved schemes for national co-payments and specific support.
It includes an application form for support under the scheme on improving the quality of fruits and vegetables produced in Bulgaria, with separate application forms available for physical and legal entities. The scheme targeting producers of quality fruits and vegetables was introduced in Bulgaria in 2012 and is exclusively backed by EU funding. In order to ensure smooth processing of application forms under the scheme, the deadline for submitting the papers will be extended until January 11, 2013.
Producers of quality fruits and vegetables will apply for government funding for 2012. They will be also required to submit certificates issued by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency by November 30, 2012. Certificates issued after this date will be used for applications for funding for next year.
