Bulgarian students will be trained to work with Russian agri machinery. That was agreed between the Minister of Agriculture and Food Prof. Dr. Hristo Bozukov and Mrs. Alla Elizarova, director of the Russian Association of Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery "Rosagromash” during a 'meeting at the ministry.
Memorandum of cooperation will be signed between the Agricultural University of Plovdiv and representatives of "Rosagromash" in May 2017.
"The implementation of such projects will contribute to better preparation and training of specialized personnel," said Minister Bozukov. In her turn, Mrs. Alla Elizarova pointed out that such type of projects will help deepen bilateral relations.
Minister Bozukov said that interest in the new qualitative machinery is showed also by the Bulgarian farmers. In his words, Russian technique is well known in our market. "And now part of agricultural machinery - tractors and combines – used by our farmers were produced in Russia," added Prof. Bozukov. He assured the representatives of " Rosagromash " that as long as they produce equipment to meet European standards, they will not have a problem on the market.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Assoc. Prof. Svetla Yancheva, as well as representatives of companies producing agri equipment, members of the "Rosagromash" and the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
