“We will not stop the trade of wood at the commodity exchange,” said Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov during an open meeting with representatives of the wood processing sector, who do not support the protest of their colleagues, held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The protesters have been invited to attend the meeting, but they refused to participate.
It was decided for 50% of the wood to be traded at the commodity exchange, while the rest – at tenders, Minister Naydenov presented the results after the first session of Sofia Commodity Exchange.
Mr. Emil Dimitrov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Forestry also attended the meeting.
