Bilateral working cooperation program between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Kingdom of Netherlands / Netherlands / will hold seminars throughout  the country on: "Restructuring of the dairy sector and administration of milk quotas national level".
 
Among the speakers at the seminar is Gerard Krebers – Head of the Milk Board of the Netherlands. He is an expert with long experience in the management of milk quotas in the Netherlands and participates actively in the work of European institutions.

The visit of Gerard Krebers will continue from 10 to 16 April 2011, as his program included seminars in regional towns of Razgrad, Ruse, Shumen, Silistra, and Varna. Experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, Executive Agency for Selection and Reproduction of Animal Husbandry, Regional Directorates, Agriculture, National Agricultural Advisory Services, as well as producers of cow's milk, approved purchasers of cow's milk and other farmers will take part in the seminars.

Major issues on the restructuring of dairy farms, administration of milk quotas at national level findings and professional recommendations to optimize performance in livestock production as a whole will be considered within the seminars.

Seminars will begin on 11 April 2011 in Ruse at 10.00 am and Razgrad at 14.00 the same day.
