European Commission has approved state aid scheme for “Investments for construction of commercial premises and purchase of commercial equipment to farmers engaged in direct deliveries of small quantities of raw materials and food of animal origin”.
Assistance is provided in the form of capital subsidy to cover part of expenses for implementation of investment. Investments are realized with own funds or credit, granted by State Fund “Agriculture” with referential interest rate, fixed for the country by European Commission.
The assistance aims to support the farmers who produced quality food products of animal origin and need adequate financial resources for carrying out activities under the direct supply of small quantities of raw materials and food of animal origin to the ended users.
Investments eligible under the scheme are considered those for construction a site for retail or expenses for reconstruction an existing building or premises, as well as for the purchase of major commercial equipment.
The maximum assistance under the scheme for a beneficiary is 50% of eligible costs for investments.
