Ministry of Agriculture and Food will present an information stand for the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 at the International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA, which will be held from 9 to 13 March 2011in the International Fair of Plovdiv.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to consult with experts from the Ministry, the SFA and the Regional Agriculture Advisory Service on issues related to investment opportunities that are provided under the RDP, as well as the various national programs.
For the 20th consecutive time, the AGRA exhibition will attract leading companies in the field of agriculture from Bulgaria and abroad. The exhibition is a showcase of the modern achievements and a kind of a compass for the current directions for sector development, which connects science with the production, producers with consumers.
Traditionally, the exhibition will be accompanied by a rich program. This year farmers will have the opportunity to participate in a round table discussion on “Cooperation in agricultural science and agribusiness”, as well as a discussion on "Small farms in Bulgaria -their state and support for their development”.
Visitors to the AGRA 2011 may attend the Day of organic farming, as well as the business meeting of the Association of manufacturers of agricultural machinery. Seminar on "State and problems of livestock production in Bulgaria” is also organized within the exhibition.
