Bulgarian culinary products can be included in the UNESCO world cultural heritage list. This is valid also for the Bulgarian folk songs, dances and crafts, Deputy Agriculture Minister Svetlana Boyanova said at the Paris International Agricultural Show.
France has already done it, including its culinary art into the UNESCO list. French Culture Minister Frédéric Mitterrand was recently asked about his favorite meal and he said it was Bulgarian yoghurt with cucumbers, or tarator as it is called in Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian exhibition stall at the agricultural show presents also Gornooryahovski Sudzhuk, a traditional Bulgarian sausage, which is on the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications of the EU
