Advanced payments for realization of the investment projects under Rural Development Program (RDP) 2007-2013 increased from 20% to 50%. The decision was discussed and approved with European Commission as part of changes in program implementation. That was announced by Diana Trifonova and Vladislav Tsvetanov, experts from “Rural Development” Directorate in Ministry of Agriculture and Food during the seminar with farmers in the Open Day of RDP 2007-2013 for District Sliven, which was held today in village of Gavrailovo parallel with the Holiday “Golden Peach”.
Farmers from the region were informed too for current opportunities for applications under measures of the Program – Measure 121 “Modernization of agricultural holdings” and Measure 123 “Adding value to agricultural and forestry products” for processing enterprises. By the projects under Measure 123 processing enterprises will be able to apply from August 15.
During the Open Day farmers were consulted by servants from National Agricultural Advisory Services of Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Over 150 people received information materials about the Program.
