Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov launched International Specialized Exhibitions Meet Mania, Milk World, Bull Pack, Salon of Wine and Interfood & Drink 2011 in the Inter Expo Center in Sofia. “I launched this celebration of food industry, wine and bread. Enjoy yourselves, contract deals and develop this sector, because it is very important for our country at the moment” said Minister Naydenov at the opening ceremony.
“This is the third consecutive event of the kind, which I open and every year it becomes bigger. We are in severe crisis. We believe that Italy will deal with its problems and not only Italy. We believe that in these severe times European Union will survive and overcome this great challenge. We also believe that United Europe will show its unity to which we are striving for”, said also Minister Naydenov addressing to Ambassador of Republic of Italy in Bulgaria Stefano Benazzo.
This year over 230 firms take part in the exhibition. These are direct exhibitors, presenting the products of 360 Bulgarian companies and 35 foreign states. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of South African Union in Bulgaria Sheila Kameran, Executive Director of Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Dr. Yordan Voynov, Executive Director of Executive Agency on Vine and Wine Krasimir Koev.
