Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov put the problem with the Bulgarian fishery ship detained in April  before the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania Valeriu Tabari. Minister Naydenov insisted the proceedings on the detention that is now being heard in Romania, to be transferred to Bulgaria, as he gave as arguments the huge cost of our fishermen for trips and lawyers.

"I hope the situation to have a positive outcome and the  problem between the Romanian and Bulgarian fishermen to be solved," said Minister Naydenov. Minister Tabari stressed that the Romanian government could not interfere in the judiciary system because it is independent. He added that he hoped in future similar problems not to arise between the two countries.

At the bilateral meeting during the joint meeting of the governments of Bulgaria and Romania in Bucharest, the two ministers of agriculture agreed on the position to keep the aids  for poor people and small farms under the Common Agricultural Policy. Bulgaria and Romania supported the preservation of the "Charity" Program, said Minister Valeriu Tabari. In this case, the two countries stand behind the position of France in the debate on the preservation program.

Minister Naydenov put more questions about equalization of subsidies of new and old member states yet in 2014. In his opinion, it is better to give us funds for agriculture now than later to fully support us as Greece . Minister Tabaripromised  to put the matter sharply before European Commissioner for Agriculture Dacian Ciolos. Both ministers agreed to communicate more intensively and to achieve closer relations and active cooperation between the paying agencies of both countries.
