Bulgaria will join the European Charter on Cooperation in the Field of Personnel Training in Food Industry Sector from 2011 to 2014. We are currently negotiating on this matter and  the preparation of  agreement documentation for signature by the Bulgarian side has been launched. It is envisaged that the signing totake place in November this year. Cooperation is on the training of specialists in food industry throughout the European Union. To improve the range and quality of interpersonal and professional relationships within the concept of continuous lifelong learning is embedded as a core objective  in  the Charter for Cooperation and Knowledge Sharing.

Institutions to partner in the project are government officials, representatives of local authorities, experts and presidents of chambers of commerce. Partners exchange information, specialists, trainees in order to develop the European dimension of vocational training through the so-called. succession - through training centers and implementation of knowledge and skills in business and schools, supporting the mobility of young people, encouraging members of the European network to develop reciprocity in relationships, and substitution of trainers and mentors.

Main objective is to make closer the activity spheres of school and enterprise, thereby contributing to improving the system and vocational training, the acquisition of a wide range of skills, as well as professional skills to help improve the employment  and lead to learning the specifics of the new cultural and economic environment is set in the European document.

Financial and methodological activities are carried out within the European scientific program "Leonardo da Vinci."

The document expected to be signed by the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Agency for Food Safety Dr. Yordan Voynov. The Agency has declared willingness to engage with their experts and training facilities in the European network for exchange of trainees and scientific knowledge and thus to improve the training of employees and gain valuable new experience in the preparation of specialists in the food sector.

One of the first projects that our country was interested is a project for the training of experts "European Ambassador for quality local products." The Agency with the help of the Agriculture and Food Service within the Embassy of Bulgaria in Paris has established contacts with professional training center  Maison Familiale Rurale (MFR) de Saint

Michel Mont Mercure in the town of Vendee, France, operating in the food sector, which is also in the European Charter Partnership 2011-2014.
 
The management team of the training organization, represented by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Luminet and Prof. Arno Vilarbu, have already visited Bulgaria and met with Dr. Jordan Voinov to negotiate the details of future exchanges and information
