I start touring more in rural areas in order to familiarize myself with the problems of people on the spot. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov in the village of Vidno, Kavarna Region. The same is also valid for my team, he added. I must admit that it was a mistake not to intensively visit rural areas so far, since we were pressed by the problems of animal breeders and farmers, the Minister said further. In his opinion, leadership of the ministry will get acquainted with people's problems on the spot. I want to see and how the funds under the Rural Development Program are absorbed. This is the best resource program and presently with the largest percentage of contracts concluded at about 32-33% and absorption of European funds compared to other European programs, said the Minister.
