With traditional Bulgarian products - wine, bread with spices, meat and dairy products the Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva met the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Christian Schmidt and the Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Mueller.
"Organic production is a priority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and proof for this is Bulgarian presentation at this year's forum," said Minister Taneva. The products include bio veal, bio wine and wines, dairy products – cheese, milk and kashkaval, foods made to traditional meat recipes, such as Panagyurska lukanka, Elena fillet, Trapezitsa roll, fruit drinks, jams, kompots, organic honey, and others.
Minister Taneva said: “This is not a trade expo, speaking in terms of signing deals, for instance. However, it helps to establish contacts, which may develop into trade relations.”
The minister also commented that it was important for Bulgaria to be presented to the other guests from other countries.
